Message to the people of Philadelphia: The theme from Rocky before a football or hockey match? Get over it ! This is the CD of Canadian violinist Angèle Dubeau. Violins of the world in french is translated by “Violons du monde”. However, what is pretty funny here, is that when we translate “violons du monde” into English it can be literally translated by the embarrassing sentence “rape some people” !!! Because “violons” can be a musical instrument as well as the verb “to rape”. Don’t bother sending a useless comment like: Does the cd sound good? |
